Prune 'Early Italian (Richards)'
Cold hardy tree produces dark purple prunes in late summer. Self-fruiting, and will help pollenize other nearby prune varieties. Richly sweet fruit is traditionally used in cuisine, canning, or drying.
Semi-dwarf tree grown on Citation rootstock. Can be maintained at 8'-10' with summer pruning.
