Evergreen single or multi-trunk tree has long, narrow, grey-green foliage. Slightly fragrant, small, white flowers followed by brown, edible fruit late summer to fall. Great for Mediterranean gardens! Aromatic fruit has a slightly sweeter flavor used for eating, pickling and oil production.
Highly adaptable, thrives in most soils with good drainage. Increase productivity by planting next to another olive tree. Protect young plants from frost.
These characteristics apply to the greater Sacramento area and nearby regions.
