Currant and gooseberries are closely related shrubs, great for home gardens. White bloom appear in spring followed by berries in summer to early fall. Great for eating fresh and making pies and jams. Plant in containers or as an attractive edible hedge!

Able to adapt to slightly acidic to alkaline soil. Drought tolerant once established. Each year allow 4 canes to develop until 15 canes have developed. Each year after, prune oldest canes.
