Deciduous, male tree does not produce fruit and can pollinize up to 11 female pistachio trees, such as 'Kerman'. Large canopy also makes for a great shade tree.

Prefers enriched soil with good drainage. Establish good structure when young and keep pruned. In summer, prune to keep tree to a manageable size. Estimated chilling time of 800 hours below 45°F. Do not disturb sensitive root ball when planting.
