Yields medium-sized, reddish-purple plums in late summer. Requires a pollinizer: Beauty or Santa Rosa plums. Fruit is mildly sweet, not tart, and red interior makes eye catching preserves or desserts.

Prefers enriched soil with good drainage. Establish good structure when young and keep pruned. In summer, prune to keep tree to a manageable size. Estimated chilling time of 300 hours below 45°F.
