Produces large, smooth nuts with well sealed shells and pearly, fine-flavored kernels. Much smaller, more compact walnut tree reaching less than 2/3 the size of other varieties. Self-fruitful.

Prefers enriched soil with good drainage. Establish good structure when young and keep pruned. In summer, prune to keep tree to a manageable size. Estimated chilling time of 700-1,000 hours below 45°F.
