Warm-Season Annuals

Summer annuals

Full Sun Annuals From A To Z...

An annual is a plant that completes its life cycle (germination, flowering, setting of seeds) within one growing season. Annuals brighten our gardening beds and borders, and are perfect for container recipes. While perennials and shrubs are the equivalent of your wardrobe basics, annuals are the accessories you can rotate each season to reflect your mood.

The warm weather is here and our nurseries are filled with full-sun annuals in different sizes for all of your planting needs.
Planting Tips:
  • Choose annuals that thrive in your zone.
  • Use potting mix for potted plants, and planting mix for garden beds.
  • Feed annuals regularly to keep the roots growing and the blooms coming. Follow the directions on the label for optimal results.
  • Water regularly. Allow the top 4"-6" of soil to dry slightly between each application.
  • Add a layer of mulch to hold moisture in the warm weather.
