Hardy, Copenhagen Market-type cabbage produces compact. small to medium sized heads. Cabbage heads mature quickly and are best used fresh for slaw, sauerkraut, or cooked in stews and soups.

Plant in enriched garden soil with good drainage after danger of 100° weather has passed. Plant in rows leaving 12" to 18' of space between each row. Add fertilizer to soil before transplanting. Water early morning or late evening. Cut heads from stems with a sharp knife when they feel solid when squeezed.
