Early spring brings trumpet-shaped, double blooms atop tall, slender stems. Narrow, strap-like foliage has a powdery, gray-green color. Color mixture includes shades of soft white, powder yellow, gold and brilliant orange. Easy to naturalize over a hillside or wildflower garden. Plant bulbs in well draining soil along with a sprinkle bulb fertilizer. Should be planted 5"-6" deep at a rate of about 6 bulbs per square foot. Cut foliage back after it turns yellow. Bulbs can either be left to spread naturally or dug up and divided by hand. Store bulbs in a dark, dry, cool place until ready for planting.
