In early fall, self-fruitful tree bares large, reddish-brown, sweet and chewy fruits. Great cross pollinator for other Jujube varieties. Can be dried like dates or eaten when ripe.

Prefers enriched soil with good drainage. Establish good structure when young and keep pruned. In summer, prune to keep tree to a manageable size. Estimated chilling time of 150 hours below 45°F.
