Herbaceous perennial forms dense clumps of rosettes. Glossy, green-purple and cream variegated leaves contrast beautifully with indigo flower spikes. Blooms from spring to early summer. Perfect addition to containers, in between stepping stones and in shady areas!
Grows well in enriched, well draining soil. Foliage color is best in sunnier areas. Feed in late summer with a low nitrogen fertilizer. If using as a ground cover, space 1' to 2' apart.
