Fragrant flower clusters in shades of soft purples bloom late winter to early spring. Evergreen trailing vine has three-inch-long linear, tear drop shaped leaves. Use as a background plant or informal hedge.

Grows well in enriched, slightly alkaline soil with excellent drainage. Increase water just before and during spring blooms. Feed with a tree and shrub fertilizer in spring before new growth. Prune back after blooms to promote dense growth.
