Bright red spring foliage matures to a bronzy, blood-red in summer. Dwarf, deciduous shrubs usually grows with a rounded habit. Tiny, yellow, spring flowers are followed by small, red berries in winter. Use as a landscape accent, hedge, border or grow in a container.
Flourishes in well draining, enriched soil. Prune in late winter to encourage dense growth. Feed with an all purpose fertilizer in spring before new growth appears.
