Deciduous shrub with open, pale, lacecap flowers. Semi-double florets bloom with a creamy coloration in the center before maturing to intense pink. Flowers summer to late fall. Grows in a compact, mounding habit. Use as accent, border, or container plant or as a hedge.

Grows well in enriched, well drained soils. Intense pink in alkaline soils and bluish in highly acidic soils. Protect from harsh cold conditions and prune weak stems after bloom.
