Bright green, tightly wrapped leaves form a dense, nearly flat head. One of the longest storing cabbages available. Excellent for slaw, sauerkraut, and cabbage rolls.

Green Thumb Guide

Plant in enriched garden soil with good drainage after danger of 100° weather has passed. Plant in rows leaving 12" of space between each row. Add fertilizer to soil before transplanting. Water early morning or late evening. Cut heads from stems with a sharp knife when they feel solid when squeezed.
