Thrives in enriched soil with good drainage. Apply a thick layer of mulch to deter weeds and to protect roots from cool and hot temperatures. Drought tolerant once established. Plants will begin to produce fruit 2 years after seeding. Prune during dormant season and in summer to maximize production.
