Serrated, diamond-shaped, green leaves turn yellow in fall. Glossy, pink, smooth, young bark matures to brown flakes. Excellent for erosion control, windbreak, accent or lawn tree. Grown in a multi-trunk form.

Flourishes in well draining, evenly moist, enriched soil. Prune to shape from late winter to early spring. Feed with a tree and shrub fertilizer in spring before new growth appears. Mulch roots in winter to protect from frost until established.
