Plant in enriched garden soil 1-2 weeks after last frost. Leave 6'-8' of space between each plant. Fertilize when transplanting and when flowers are about to bloom. Water very regularly for large, sweet fruits. Harvest melons when the spot resting on the ground turns creamy yellow and surrounding tendrils turn brown.
