Texas native perennial shrub with an upright, open habit and large, fuzzy, heart-shaped leaves. Twisted, tulip-shaped, hanging flowers with cardinal red color bloom summer to fall. Leaves, flowers, and fruit are edible but stems are not. Use in mixed flower beds or containers.
